Nate is a freshman Biological Sciences major at the University Notre Dame. He is intrigued by anthropology, especially as it overlaps with the field of Biology. He wanted to find out more about the genetic modification of food and its immediate impact, the impact on the environment, and the economic aspects of this. There are many people who have strong opinions about this topic, but not much in the middle. Businesses have a vested interest in the success of this new technology, and the exclusivity to modified seeds. Some groups are against this idea on principle, but the reasons are not always clear. This website hopes to sort some of this out for people who want to learn more.
